This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to all orders placed through canonshops.com By placing an order, you agree to be bound by this policy.
All shipping times, costs, and methods are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier performance, customs clearance, weather, holidays, or other factors beyond our control.
We are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or damages once the item has been handed over to the carrier, except where required by applicable law.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
Shipping Policy - the basics
We strive to ship your order as quickly and safely as possible. Here are the key points:
• Order processing time
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in USA). Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
• Shipping methods
We use reliable international carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, or local partners for deliveries. The exact carrier is chosen based on your location, order value, and product size/weight.
• Shipping costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on:
• Destination country/region
• Weight and dimensions of the package
• Selected shipping method (standard or express)
We offer free shipping on orders above a certain amount (displayed on product pages or at checkout when applicable).
• Delivery times (estimated)
• USA & Canada: 2-3business days (express: 1-2days)
• Europe: 3– 6business days (express: 2–4days)
• Other international destinations: 3–6 business days
These are estimates only. Delays may occur due to customs clearance or carrier issues.
• Tracking
You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. You can track your package directly on the carrier’s website.
• Customs, duties & taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, VAT, or customs fees imposed by your country. These fees are your responsibility and are not included in the shipping cost or product price. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.
What to include in the Shipping Policy
A. Order Confirmation & Shipping Notification
After payment, you will receive an order confirmation email. Once your order ships, you will receive a second email with tracking details.
B. Address Verification
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you. If a package is returned due to an invalid address, you will be responsible for reshipping costs.
C. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Packages
• If the tracking shows the package was delivered but you did not receive it, contact the carrier first (they usually handle claims for lost/stolen items).
• If the package arrives damaged, take photos immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will assist with the carrier claim and may offer a refund or replacement (subject to inspection).
D. Refused or Returned Shipments
If you refuse delivery or the package is returned to us (for any reason), you will be refunded the product price minus original shipping fees + return shipping costs + any customs fees incurred.
E. Shipping Restrictions
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, military addresses (APO/FPO), or countries under international sanctions. Some products may be restricted in certain countries due to local regulations (e.g., lithium batteries in cameras).
F. Changes & Cancellations
Once an order has been processed and shipped, we cannot modify the shipping address or cancel the order. Please contact us immediately if you need to change something before shipping.
